Northwest Denver - Highland Park, Elizabeth Wheeler

I fell in love with this big old Craftsman more than 10 years ago. The daughter of the original owners lived in it until her death. So, the DeNave Family owned this home for over 65 years! In fairly good shape, when I bought it I have had a blast bringing back all of its Craftsman details, including having the 10- inch, painted crown molding wood-grained (faux painted) to match the original mahogany-stained fir. Amazingly when I bought this home, my cousins had just moved from homes across the street. My family has lived on this block for over 80 years in a lovely neighborhood about a mile from where their grandmother lived and my grandfather was born in the 1880s.
